Will I Be Able To Purchase Film For My Camera In Costa Rica?

If you are planning a visit to any of the many beautiful locations in Costa Rica, naturally you'll have your camera in hand to capture the view. However, film in Costa Rica tends to be very expensive and it's recommended that you bring a few extra rolls from home. A 100 ASA will do well in most situations but you may want to bring along some 200 or 400 ASA just in case, and of course, depending on your camera.

Costa Rica is full of great photo opportunities, with gorgeous waterfalls, sunsets, mountains, and animals you'll want to have the proper equipment to capture it all! It's important to keep in mind the warm humid weather of this tropical climate. The humidity often causes trouble for some of the more inexpensive cameras, fogged lenses and jammed shutters are very common problems. We recommend you take the proper precautions and the proper equipment to help you remember your visit.
